Hungarian Group of Glencore Agriculture plays important role in trade and logistics of cereals, oilseeds, vegetable oils and animal feed materials, and besides, active in manufacturing and storage. As a member of the group since 2006, main aim of Gabonatároló és Logisztikai Kft. is to serve needs of the Hungarian grain market, such as grain/oilseed/meal storage and handling. Our sites are situated in four locations throughout the country: in Foktő, Gyomaendrőd, Debrecen and Berettyóújfalu.
Our Danube port is in Foktő, where bulk grain is loaded and unloaded.
The port is located on the left bank of the Danube, at 1520,995–1520,895 RKM.
Length of shore: 100 m and the shore height is 95.36 mBf.
The port has a daily capacity of 1,200 tonnes of maize, wheat, rapeseed or 800 tons of sunflower seed, sunflower meal and rapeseed meal.
In addition to transhipment of grain and meal into barges, pre-storage is also available if needed. The capacity of our flat grain storage (by units) are: 3,500 tons for corn and wheat or 2,500 tons for sunflower seed, rapeseed and their meal.
