The federation held its annual General Assembly on April 16, 2021 at 10 a.m., this time in hybrid form (partly online, partly in person) in view of the epidemiological situation. The following topics were discussed by the membership:

  1. The 2020 report, supplementary annex, and presidency report
  2. Report of the Audit Committee for 2020
  3. Election of the senior officials of Hungarian Federation of Danube Ports
  4. The 2021 plan
  5. GINOP (Digital Lifebelt), DIONYSUS projects
  6. Decision on the amount of the membership fee
  7. Greeting of new member: Dunakor Kft
  8. CSO and member performance data
  9. Others: CORCAP project, Port development resources, HBS vocational training, 3rd year

At the general meeting, the members unanimously approved the association’s annual report for 2020 and the plan for 2021, and the officers of the Board and the Audit Committee were elected. As a result of a secret ballot using the Mentimeter application, the former members of the Presidency and the Audit Committee were re-elected unanimously.

The participants of the general meeting were informed about the status of the current projects affecting the federation from the presentations of the invited experts, as well as to discuss the future possibilities available by the announced tender constructions.

The members were also informed that in the vocational training of transporters organized by the Association of Hungarian Freight Forwarders, the development of port topics and adult training requirements (in addition to sea and river shipping) was carried out by the President.

The General Assembly also hosted a workshop for logistics experts on the international project CE-1278 CORCAP, funded under the CENTRAL EUROPE program, during which the members of the federation could learn about the professional content and progress of the project, ask questions, and express their opinions.
