Port of Komarom

The area of Komárom Port is 24 777 square meter. It has a bank with a lenght of 934 m.

It has three docks yet suitable for cargo vessels or passenger ships. One is by a river wall and one is by a floating equipment.

Currently there is international passenger and cargo traffic in the port. Within cargo traffic the loading and unloading of bulk cargo and providing the related services.

Thanks to the geographical and infrastructual endowments of the port the scale of our activity can be widen with further solutions.

The industrial park of Komárom is accessible by road.

The bridge which connects Hungary with Slovakia and also handles rail traffic is right by the area of the port.

From the point of view of navigability the port is well constructed, it can be used at a wide range of water level, except for extremists, include the low water periods as well when only the upper part of the Danube is navigable without restrictions.

By the water side of the area a designated mooring area can be found.

All in all the port has an excellent location with being direct by international waterway, railway, and road, right by the border, having appropriate riverbed depth. These can give us and our customers extraordinary possibilities.
