The association held its annual general meeting on 17 May 2019 at Hotel Château Belá, Slovakia. In the morning session of the General Assembly, the following items were discussed by the members:
- The 2018 Annual Report, its Annexes and the Presidency Report
- Report of the Audit Committee for 2018
- The 2019 Plan
- DAPhNE, DANTE, DBS Gateway, KIR, GINOP, NPDM projects
- Involvement in Planning Processes (ITM National Port Development and National “Complex” Waterway Development)
- Review of the regulation of maritime transport (amendment of law)
- Strategic planning of ITOP and post-2020 EU resources
- DPN (Danube Ports Network), DIONYSUS Project
- Vocational and language training
- Membership fee
- CSO and member performance data
- Other: Welcoming Normbenz Magyarország Kft. as new member
At the general meeting, the members unanimously approved the association’s annual report for 2018 and the plan for 2019. The Audit Committee classified 2018 as a successful year.
The participants of the General Assembly were invited to present the progress of the current projects concerning the Association and to discuss the future possibilities of the submitted applications.
As part of the afternoon program, the members visited the port of Komarno and visited a new road bridge under construction connecting North Komárom and South Komárom, which was followed by an interesting interactive presentation.
